Glyndebourne is four miles from Lewes, and the Glyndebourne courtesy bus runs from Lewes railway station, just four minutes walk from St Nicholas Lane, before and after every performance.

Lewes is situated within the beautiful South Downs National Park with opportunities for peaceful enjoyment on foot (directly out of Lewes onto the Downs) or by car.  The Tourist Information Office is within two minutes walk along the High Street.
